It’s great to win, but Odom was never a long-term guy, and after next years losing season he will be gone, assuming there are any decent coaches on the market. Like Mangino’s proverbial cupcakes, Odom served his purpose, wasted some chances, but didn’t wreck the program and made respectable showings with the awful recruits we get. He was a stopgap.
