under the bus. Harris Stowe isn't an NCAA member so he basically hid out there in my opinion. As much as they made Haith a scapegoat, I think Fuller would have gotten it twice as badly.
I like the fact that after we were supposedly notified that Fuller was causing an NCAA investigation, we thereafter put him on our next staff and gave him a multi-year contract and a huge raise to be associate head coach. Then allowed him to start recruiting at a level MU hadn't done in years before deciding to take away his recruiting role. Then MU paid him a $100k buyout despite his contract stating: "If there is any flagrant and major violation on the part of the employee to comply with the rules of the NCAA the University may terminate this contract for employment for cause and be free of financial commitment when that failure has been determined to exist."
That timeline makes a lot of sense.
