is a "surprising race". Beto seems a really charismatic guy. Cruz ignored the threat, Beto got press, moved close, but then Cruz responded and it now is not as close. The fact that Cruz is threatened at all to this degree is newsworthy, so they cover it.

That Toro can't get over it, is Toro's thing, nothing more.
