that missing out on top 10-15 kids each year will not hurt college basketball at all. If, and it's a big IF, they rework the system so that the rest of the kids are required or highly incentivized to stay for at least 3 years. Not having that dozen elite kids in college doesn't matter. What kills the game is the endless stream of 4-star guys who leave after 1 or 2 years and are never heard from again.
I don't think the DLeague deal is going to affect very many guys.
My idea to manage the turning pro issue is still the best one out there but would require a ton of collaboration between the NBA and the NCAA.
