She could've come out at said something to the effect of "Though I was told as a child that my ancestry included those of Cherokee descent, I realize now that I was wrong to imply this cultural heritage without working with tribal leadership to confirm it. Furthermore I am announcing my plan to (do something for indigenous Americans) and will make (something regarding indigenous Americans) part of my platform (were she to run for president)."

As it stands she handled it as poorly as she could've. Refuses to get the test, finally gets the test and its ambiguous as hell and proves nothing. And even if she and her family were Native American as she claimed, what did she ever do for that group? She still was attempting to benefit from being a minority without bearing the actual inequities inherent.

TL:DR- Warren is dumb.
