The #1 QB prospect is supposedly Justin Hebert. I watched him for the first time yesterday. Lock is nearly as good as he is.
Locks numbers his entire Mizzou career have been pretty well tainted. Freshman year, horrible receivers, bad coaching, wasn't ready, no mentorship. Drop on drop.
Sophomore year, same thing drops on drops on drops. Huepel called plays on one side of the field.
Junior year, actually wasnt that awful. Lit up Georgia, more drops, defense was good awful.
This year, playing with freshman WR, not a ton of time in the pocket, and missing his 2 best receivers 3 games in a row. Not a lot of experience in the corps right now.
Lock does look significantly improved this year.
We will lose games, but that's because our defense is miserable.
When GMs watch tape on Lock, there will be mistakes for sure, but they will also see wide open receivers dropping easy passes for big gains.
