Tired of the Pinkel and Odom comparisons

In Pinkels first year, did he have a 4 star potential NFL sophomore QB? Did he have future NFL wide receiver? The former top 5 recruit DT? Future NFL first round DE? A 4 star RB?

There's no comparison to Pinkels first years to Odoms sorry.

I think every new coach gets a pass in year one. But last year what did we learn? Defense wasn't much better and a gimmicky offense was required. Couldn't beat any teams with a winning record, won 3 in a row where the coach was fired.

That's what we are hanging our hats on, with all that talent?

So you go to this year. Should be 5-0. Sloppy play two games in a row. Odom is 0-6 against USCe and Georgia now.

Defense looks horrible once again and even the O at times it's hard to tell what the hell that are thinking.

The other thing we could hang our hat on is recruiting. Getting the kids from in state and some solid jewels out of state. Just not there. At least not the numbers we will need to actually win games in the SEC.

If Odom finishes the year 9-3, he deserves to keep his job. He goes 6-6, I think it's time to move on.
