as well as their parents’ room and board, monthly stipends, travel expenses and the like have historically been paid by donors, and one donor in particular. The cars have routinely been provided by former players. It appears that Adidas has chipped in considerable funds in recent years. So this doesn’t explain ku’s massive operating deficits. That is more likely the result of having a Division II football team, as well as gross mismanagement and corruption within the athletic department (inability to even be able to keep track of who holds season tickets to basketball games, multiple comp tickets to porn stars, production costs of fake national championship banners, etc.)
