buying their attacks on Kavanaugh are hard core Dems. They are energizing many GOP voters who may not have been motivated to go to the polls in a few weeks and despite what they believe independent women are finding this very distasteful.
The GOP could wind up holding both the House and Senate and still have Kavanaugh confirmed.
The GOP leadership leaves a lot to be desired but the leaders on the Dem side are dumb as dirt. They have zero understanding of the long game. They are scoring some points with their base but at what cost?
