Nary a dem voted against Reagan's nominees that preceded bork and replaced bork.

Gorsuch really wasn't "slimed" as you term it; the majority of dem votes against him were likely the result of Garland not receiving consideration for seat that was open for 11 months. kavanaugh is worse than gorsuch - he's simply a politician (with some skeletons in his closet.)

If kav goes down in flames and the Dems take the Sen (doubtful), the only candidate that trump would be able to get through in the next two years w/b Garland.
