for moving forward.

After not showing much push in the offensive line on running plays, I thought they did a great job today against a legit defense. Also, Crockett looked determined to not being relegated to the bench...he ran with some purpose today.

I thought defensive line showed well against the vaunted Jaw Jaw Oline. To me it looked like most of the long runs the Dawgs got were when our linebackers and dbacks didn't fill there gaps well.

We didn't quit...and this is important because I think in the previous two years this team rolls over after being down 20-7 to a highly ranked team.

Lastly, this has to give them confidence going forward against all teams not named Alabama. They played with the #2 team and frankly lost the game because they shot themselves in the foot, not because the Dawgs beat them.

Clean up the mistakes, keep coaching up the dbacks (they have to get better as the season goes on...I hope), get E Hall healthy, and this team could finish with 9 or 10 wins.

I'm excited to see what they can do going forward.
