is needed in areas like korea and the mid east.
It is not always used most effectively and efficiently, but i have said before that arguably the most volatile region in the world is the korean peninsula. There has been pretty much peace and calm for sixty years and i submit it is because of our military presence there.
Further, i submit that a war started by china and norkor against japan and sokor would cost us much more than we are spending now.
In the mideast, i was and remain in favor of fighting them in kandahar instead of kentucky, in tibliz instead of topeka. Don't know if we're doing it the best way or even the right way.
But to suggest that we just pack up and go home, and leave israel to twist in the wind, and allow iran to continue training and equipping terrorists around the world, and allow the slaughter of christians, oh wait, we ARE ALLOWING the slaughter of christians...
We have the might to do good in the world. We can do that without being the world's policeman.
We can save people from other people.
We can help people.
To walk away in my opinion is immoral.
And i am not suggesting you are immoral or that anyone with an alternate opinion is immoral.
With might and wealth come responsibility. We can use it better, but we should use it.
America first. But not america alone.
