Matheny was fired, because story broke from what's his name that Matheny was talking to Fowler. So he was criticized for being a meanie. Matheny gets fired, Schildt takes over and patches things up with Fowler and plays him everyday. He still sucks. Fowler breaks foot, Schildt has to play Bader. Defense and offense improves. Team takes off. Including with the new bullpen which was key. Schildt is a genius.

Hey, I'm fine with MM being fired and thrilled with what's happening, but let's be honest.
