Question on Purdue vs. MIZ commit comparison

All per 247 composite

Purdue has 21 commits, including four 4*. AVG commit rating is 85.83

MIZ has 9 commits with zero 4*. AVG commit rating is 85.34.

Question is if all things are equal, mainly number of commits and both classes address positions of need, would you take -

The class with a few higher 4* but a larger spread in the AVG rating, i.e. some higher recruits but also many lower rated players which reduce the overall AVG by commit

The class that has zero 4* and a similar AVG rating per commit but has a lower spread in the AVG rating, i.e. more players closer to the AVG rating.

EDIT: At this point the overall national ranking doesn't matter because of the differences in commits in the classes. I always look at the AVG rating and the classes are very similar, even with Purdue having four 4*
