and after the recent news he changed his mind?

Or maybe just maybe he wanted to spurn the Buckeyes and choose his hometown Tigers while giving Ohio st the middle finger.
Now that Ohio st is screwed and in trouble he doesn't want to choose between Mizzou and them so he has to bring another team in make it seem like a bigger win for Mizzou. (because who wants to go to Ohio st now)

How likely is that latter scenario?
