The annual Braggin’ Rights game that pits rivals Missouri and Illinois against each other will be played on Dec. 22 this year, both schools announced Monday morning.
Game time and television information have not been announced yet. The game will be played at the Enterprise Center, which was previously called the Scottrade Center until a name change in May.
Illinois won last year’s game 70-64 after opening a 42-22 first-half lead. The win gave the Illini their fifth straight Braggin’ Rights game win and increased its series lead to 25-12.
Last year’s attendance of 21,289 blew away the 2016 turnout of 12,409. In fact, the 2016 attendance was the lowest for the series since it moved to the Enterprise Center in 1994.
