that the Russians did anything, then you simply don't mention it. You just shift to different issues and stay quiet about it.

IMO, the "outrage" is in part, constantly manufactured. That being said, it's hard to see what he gains by undermining our intelligence community unless that's exactly what he's trying to do - sow seeds to undermine their credibility, perhaps to create doubt when it comes to other issues......
