How ironic that in the book I'm reading on

the US trying to find a WWII German spy ring in the US, which includes details of Chamberlain's meeting with Hitler and his infamous "peace in our time" self-congratulation (the day before Germany launched a big attack)...we have Trump meeting with Putin.
I know obama would have been another Chamberlain, but what about Trump. I'm not overly impressed today as he often talks about how "sincere" putin has been that he and Russia had nothing to do with any hacking and emails and collusion stuff and he has no doubts, blah, blah. If Trump is actually sincere in saying that then I am worried. And you can bet putin is laughing his ass off now.
You don't gain anything by being nice to a bully. Chamberlain didn't and neither will we.
