over arching takeaways:
1. Strzok is doing pretty well. He is defending himself passionately and his defense even makes some sense. If you're stupid. And most Americans are.
2. The chairman cannot control this committee hearing. It has devolved into a cluster flop of inane speechmaking and grandstanding. Goodlatte is a lightweight.
3. The Socialists have a specific game plan and are implementing it pretty well. If you look at many of them during the myriad interruptions, they are smiling. Almost giggling as they smirk their self satisfied smirks as their team connives to obfuscate the facts and delay the proceedings.
4. Members of Congress are no better or smarter than most people walking on the street. Congresswoman Lofgren from California is an ugly troll, and has no sense whatever. Congressman Sensenbrenner from Ohio I think, spent the first 90 seconds of his five minutes blathering on about stuff that doesn't matter. These people are generally just friggin stupid. They have agendas, they have ambitions, and they don't have any more sense than most semi-educated slugs you see at the mall.
I remember as a kid having some respect, even awe, for people elected to Congress. No more. Like my previous respect for the FIB, and government in general … No more.
This is a circus. A childish little game played by childish people with their own agendas. Agendas that have nothing to do with serving the nation.
It is a game of gotcha, or hide and seek. Currently being won by the socialists as the leader of the Republicans is a dope, and the socialist opposition to the proceedings has been well practiced and well implemented.
Republicans are stupid, but the socialists are even stupider. The advantage that the Socialists have of course is that they have no compunction about lying. Many times, fat Nadler said that the Russian involvement made a big difference in the election. He is a fat liar. They don't mind bending the truth, breaking the truth, or shattering the truth. They are devious, they are deceitful, they are disgusting.
They are winning.
