What a load. First you act like wild bill clinton and need a definition of WE.
The united states. Not you and me.
I know what you meant, but I'd like to see you think about the usage of those terms, when people like you and me have little power over these decisions. Really, I'd like you to see the world through a more individualistic prism.
But you knew that but hate to admit any sort of affiliation with the united states i suppose.
For the record, I am affiliated with the United States government. I live within its jurisdictional reach.
And then, instead of saying what we should do...which would answer the question, you offer adolescent mindless gibberish and say what we should not do. Ducking and dodging in JG style.
I explicitly said what the US leaders should do, here it is again since you missed it:
"I would rather the US president take any of these measures instead of taking measures that could very well lead to the increase in consumer prices. Above all, I would suggest the president act like an adult and try to convince the other bureaucrats that tariffs do not make economic sense and lead by example in not imposing them.
America should be exceptional in this regard."
You have no problem with our president bowing at the waist because you want him to act like an adult.
I have no problem with this at all.
Do you see any danger in setting the precedent of acting like an adult when in your mind that means capitulation, weakness and cowardice?
I see no danger whatsoever. I only see the benefits of possibly softening trade protectionist tensions and allowing for more trade between the people under each govt.
Is that what you want from your president?
I want the US President to be an impotent figurehead, at most. I definitely do not want the President actively interfering with trade.
You have grown tiresome. Why don't you and your mentor discuss this in his mom's basement, and leave this board for grown ups?
You're not a grown up. On top of your daily name calling and immaturity, you're pushing forward a "but they started it!" mantra on this issue of tariffs. You're in no position to make statements about others to the contrary.
