There are a lot of questions surrounding Halper. We are being told he was used as an "informant" due to George Papadopoulos having a drunk conversation with an Australian. However, Halper reached out to Carter Page a couple of months before ever engaging with Papadopoulos in September of 2016. The FBI is claiming it's investigation opened in July, but they never even interviewed Papadopoulos until Jan 2017. Why not just reach out to Papadopoulos directly in regards to HRC emails?
The timing of everything is all over the board. The FBI could do themselves a favor and explain why Halper was meeting with Page if Papadopoulos was the target all along.
