Yes, MU can absolutely hire a P5/SEC-caliber coach. We had one as recently as 2015.

People said the same thing about our basketball program — that no wanted the job except Kim and we would never find a P5-caliber replacement. Then Sterk hired a successful coach from the Pac-12.
