seed in the program's history. The early exit in that tournament was due to some key injuries that happened late in the season.

Within 3 years at Tennessee, he took that program to the Sweet 16.

Within 1 year at Missouri, he took an 8-win team to an 8 seed in the NCAA tournament. Once again, the early exit was due to limited depth from a depleted roster. It was also just about the worst opponent we could have drawn (FSU was deep, athletic, and capable of beating anyone, which is why they reached the Elite 8 and nearly beat Michigan to reach the Final Four).
