Nor do I think the Rameys gained anything at all from being recruited by Mizzou, so the entire premise that we were played is ridiculous. Played to what end? He ended up signing with a team that had been recruiting him since before his original Louisville commitment, so it wasn't to create a false sense of openness and increase his options. They avoided the media as much as possible, so it wasn't for media attention. We already have been actively recruiting Ramey's AAU team and have an established relationship with the dad, so it wasn't that, either.

There was no reason to invite Mizzou back into the process other than because Courtney was genuinely open to the idea of playing here.
