While it has been an odd recruitment I think there is a lot to like for him at Mizzou. Close to home so his dad can get to a lot of games, immediate playing time, great fit for the system and familiarity with other players.

As I said in another thread Ramey seems like the type of kid to go against the grain. He strikes me as someone that wants to blaze his own trail elsewhere. Nothing against Mizzou, but with some kids being the home state school can actually be a disadvantage
