with the exception of being replaced (which he has no control over) certainly gives no pvucks about who he reports too.

Mueller isn't a pushover.

He has nothing to lose or hide.

I can't see him agreeing to anything that would compromise his investigation. I am sure he wouldn't be averse to the states arresting people immediately if that kind of arm twisting was happening.

He has thought the end game out on that.

I am sure he has a job in New York as soon as they fire him.
