for me. Brown had an unbelieveable basketball career before he even stepped on the court in Brewer. He played on a ridiculous Dixon team that set all sorts of mind-boggling, eye-popping records, many of which have yet to be broken.
Dixon ran a system that played 12 guys and everyone of them could play. In 1969 Dixon ran the table, winding up with a 36-0 record. That Dixon team was hated with a passion because no matter who they played, and no matter how far they were up they continued to press the entire game. They averaged over 100 points a game and set a national record for scoring 174 points in one game against Stoutland.
I was not alive during this time but I've spent hundreds of hours researching their 1969 team. They were silly good.
