I know families which homeschool, primarily because their kid(s) are disruptive at school and teachers don’t have time for a kid or two like that in the classroom, or the family is over-protective religiously with respect to their kids.

Not all kids are maladjusted but I think many of them fall behind socially. Can’t protect those kids for real life and the workplace when they become adults. Got to have those kids face challenges out there rather than shelter them from it.
