asked for a delay & no one told him. He waited around the courthouse & was never called. He finally went up and asked a bailiff(?) or someone and was informed that the case had been postponed.

My Dad was ticked and vowed he wouldn't go the next time. Sure enough, he recognized the process server and would either leave out the back door or lock the doors and not let him in. One time the guy waited until closing & my Dad climbed out a back window & left.

Eventually they gave up & he never did have to testify.
