I don't want us to sign anyone who would rather come off the bench.
As long as he's actually willing to earn it, that should be viewed as a virtue, not a critique (not that you necessarily were suggesting that, but others have).
As you note, we don't have a lot of good options there. There's no reason Ramey shouldn't be able to earn at least 20 minutes/game here next year.
We're more or less losing 85 minutes/game from this year's team, all of it on the perimeter. That leaves room for four newcomers to play major minutes right away, as Geist and CVL are the only expected returners at those spots, and neither is in line for an increase in minutes.
