Was busy last night. But that was a strange box score. We get outshot from the field 64-35. We shoot 49% to their 28%. We shoot 28 FTs to their 12 (assume we got fouled a lot late as they were trying to catch up). We turn the ball over 24 times.
Whatever happened we need to cut down on turnovers against Georgia tonight. They are good at pressuring the ball. And the refs are usually mediocre, at best in WBB, IMO.
Hard to overemphasize how critical tonight's game is for us. But it is as critical for Georgia, maybe more. I saw Charlie Creme said Georgia needs to win to get a top 16 seed, but Mizzou might still get a seed if we lose. We compare favorably to them in nearly every area the selection committee looks at, except for them having a head to head win over us. It's hard to see how we would get seeded before them if they were 2-0 against us.
Must win game.
