It also confirms the FBI and DOJ relied on their past dealings with Steele as "verification", but they never verified Steele's sources of information. It also raises questions as to why the FBI needed to put Page under surveillance, because he had been openly cooperating with them for over three years. Part of the FISA application is to exhaust all resources, but the FBI never once interviewed Page about his possible Moscow meeting. Schiff's memo is a train wreck.
