Walmarts across the country will close. As will grocers that rely heavily on TANF and SNAP users.
And that would be just the beginning. Start paying folks a better wage and things will turn as that will increase spendable income and thus increase demand for more goods and services AND it would get Walmart employees off the public dole. Concentration of income and wealth at the top - as our current system facilitates - is a dead end.
