1. Yes. See: Larry Rountree, among others. I trust Odom's judgment.
2. I'm sure Odom would make that trade, given he offered those guys first. They didn't come here for the most part. We all know this, and it has nothing to do with the discussion at hand.
3. Yes. Every coach wants better players than he has. Bill Belicheck would trade Tom Brady if he could get an even better quarterback. This is why Odom is offering these guys and not third-tier in-state players just to make it look like we're recruiting locally more.
4. I don't think Odom cares one way or the other about the interest other schools have. He, like every coach, does his own evaluation. Arkansas didn't want Crockett. Their coach is now fired.
