resources to spend on their children and therefore those children make dumb choices that affect the rest of their lives. I have known plenty of people from small towns and urban areas that make mistakes that my parents constantly warned me about.

I have known people who understood that education was their only way out of the cycle their family was in, and were smart enough to capitalize.

It takes resources and time to properly invest in your kids. The more of both they have, the more advantages they will have in life, regardless of skin color.
