The article lists several examples of where congress decided to buy more equipment than the military requested.

How is that not pork?

When a defense contractor arranges for a congressman to receive a financial reward for approving unnecessary government purchases, I consider that pork regardless of whether the money is spent in the congressman's district. But if you want to quivel and call it corruption instead of pork, that is fine with me.

All I know is it goes oink oink oink.
