prior positions regarding immigration policy and especially intent.

We should not base our policy on collectivist thinking - one guy from Bangladesh who entered the country in 2011 shouldn't impact all Bangladesh citizens (given there are 140,000 here currently, he makes as practical a point as he does a philosophical one).

Chain immigration changes the person's place in line, it shouldn't change how they are vetted nor if they should be.

In summary, I remain steadfast that nations do indeed have borders and immigration policy and enforcement is an extension of governments duty to protect citizens from "harm from without"; however, doing so based on classes of people (race, religion, country of origin) is as immoral and simply illogical as it is unconstitutional.

Vetting is a personal issue and a critical issue.
