was too late to find a viable replacement. My guess is that as soon as he is seated they will 'discover' new evidence allowing them to push him out.

The other option is to stick with the stance that none of the allegations have been proven and that in the US we are innocent until proven guilty.

With a GOP governor in Alabama I am sure they would rather replace him. But if the people of Alabama elected him aware of the allegations then you could argue that he should not be replaced.
