The real conservative move would be for the US govt to divest itself of ownership entirely.

this move, getting the US government out of the conservation business, at least gets the land in a position to be developed and/or used.

I told you this move would make your head spin, as true conservative, you love the govt enforcing your wishes - despite having no constitutional basis to do so.
