are quite a few differences to be reconciled...for example, the Senate has 7 individual tax brackets (same as the current system), whereas the house has 4. The rates differ...the Senate's version is temporary.
Will the house adopt the Senate version? The vote is so narrow on the Senate side, they're clearly not going to adopt the house bill - meeting in the middle may not be palatable for 3-4 Senators, and that would kill it.
