base allowance, they raised the standard deduction and they lowered marginal rates. Admittedly, this doesn’t mean everyone pays less. But the plan is to lessen the games of deductions by simply making the structure less budensome.
Much more they could have done. But this is good action. And the dems stand unified against it.
