We have the illusion of democracy in this country. That's all. In reality we live in a corrupt plutocracy.
I read this morning that the GOP tax plan polls in the area of 33% approval, 44 % disapproval. But it will get passed because public opinion doesn't matter.
We have at best a managed democracy. And that may be too kind.
