Consumer confidence, which was higher than it is today, from 2000-2007 led to exactly 2 years of 3+% GDP growth.
I also recall Bush 43 doing a lot to cut regulations.
So, regulations and consumer confidence ARE drivers to the economy, but there is more to it and we both know that.
I dont credit Trump yet for this economy. If it can maintain, I will give him credit. But so far he has done nothing but say the right words.
