Manslaughter at the least. If he'd been drinking, taken any drugs, etc. that might change. With that said, was she wearing blaze orange something? Did she make the owners of the property she was on aware of her plans to be there?

Sounds like an accident. I don't personally shoot at anything unless I can see all of it, but I have dozed off and definitely imagined seeing things after staring at the same space for too long.
