not as bad as the media would have you believe. it's a really beautiful country to be honest. i lived on a beautiful beach that i'd put up against just about anywhere.

the people by and large and friendly, smart and hard working.

the country has it's issues to be sure. i feel like if they get just a moderately corrupt gov't instead of a wholly corrupt and inept one they'd be alright.

bottom line though, there is there is no reason why haitian nationals can't go back home.
