Put about ten gangs on the island in each round of the tournament. Each gang gets exactly the same amount and kind of weapons. They fight to the death.
When all members of all but one gang are killed, surviving members of the winning gang get $50,000 in the quarterfinals, $100,000 in the semifinals and the winners get an additional $1,000,000 each.
Consolation prize is free burial at sea for the losers.
No police necessary. No rules, no laws, no conscience. Just like the streets of baltimore.
At the end, most gangs are destroyed and the winner is decimated.
It would be like the roman coliseum. Maybe a member of the winning gang can become mayor of newark and get really rich.
Bloods, crips, mexican mafia, MS 13, hell's angels....capitalism is self cleansing.
