First is the quote as published in the Atlantic

now the question is why would the author leave that last part out? i assume that is the way it was illegally leaked to the author. i'll assume that whomever leaked it had an agenda and leaked it w/o the additional context that changes the meaning of that last sentence entirely.

if the author left it out intentionally she should be fired.
