Their air capability would indeed diminish rapidly. But they have prodigious armored and artillery capability and plenty of troops to man them. It would require a long time to root it all out and at the cost of a lot of South Korean civilian casualties. The allies had overwhelming air supremacy in Normandy but yet the Germans were able to stalemate the allies for two months by digging in well and cleverly hiding their equipment. Over reliance on air power is a lesson we keep learning and forgetting.
