discipline, earn the respect of players, and foster team morale without needing to kick talented players off the team.

But given that's not the kind of coach we have, Sterk is spinning it the right way. It doesn't mean he's planning to keep Odom, without seeing significant improvement on the field by the end of the season. I still think 5 wins is a bare minimum for Odom to retain his job.

However, all of this is just my opinion.
