Should LaGerald Vick be an active player on the kansas basketball team?
We will start with the first answer of course being "no". No one that treats women that way should be given the opportunity to play in that world class basketball team. He should be kicked out, learn from his mistakes, as we do not tolerate that kind of behavior.
Oh, wait, thats not what happened here is it?
So, we turn to answer that kansas decided to go with in "yes".
In acting like nothing has happened, there is an active culture surrounding the mistreatment of women. In saying that a recruit who participates in those actions, and news article stating kansas is actively recruiting, one would put together the thought that he would fit in just fine.
Now, is it hypocrisy if Mizzou has learned from those mistakes, who doesn't have any active assault or rape charges surrounding their athletic department, to bring other institutions lack of standing up to what is right and punish those involved? I would think one would want to clean up the mess that one has.
